To complete its range, MCPI developed rotary union solutions to supply your machines and actuators with pneumatic, hydraulic or electric power.

Our standard solutions satisfy many requirements, but we remain at your disposal to develop specific solutions to meet your needs. The quality of manufacture and endurance of these products make them particularly suitable for the most demanding robotics exacting robotic and automation applications. Multi-channel rotary unions can be used with different fluids at the same time.

They can contain up to 12 fluid channels, have a central bore and can be machined to adapt to the elements around them.

High-speed models with a pneumatic channel

MCPI rotary unions enable the transmission of many types of fluids (compressed air, oil, water, etc.) between fixed supply points and rotating receiver points. Their main role is to supply actuators, and particularly cylinders or clamps. They usually comprise a stainless steel shaft and a body made from anodized aluminum. These two elements are connected by bearings separating the fixed part from the rotating part.

These electric slip rings enable the supply of currents power from 5 to 500 A, communication protocols (Profibus, ProfiNet, EtherNet, CanBus, CanOpen, etc.) and basic simple signals at speeds of up to 1,000 rpm. Like our pneumatic models, they can also have a central bore and be adapted for even the most complex projects.

For specific requirements, particularly combined fluid supplies, we have developed comprehensive solutions with the two types of union described above: pneumatic or hydraulic version, and electric version.

The friction-free rotary unions of the JC series enable the supply of a rotating receiver with compressed air, vacuum or various liquids. The friction-free design (patented) guarantees wear-free resistance over time, even at high operating speeds.

The tightness of the JC series rotary unions is ensured by the very thin slight gap in the rotating link between a rotating tube and its fixed housing. This unique design enables considerable rotation speeds that would not be possible with other technologies.
