Swivel joints
MCPI is the sole representative of German company HAAG ZEISSLER in France, an innovative company with a stellar reputation for the manufacturing of rotating passages and swivel joints.
These products are used in fluid and gas supply systems between fixed and mobile points, and are particularly suited to high flow rates and slow rotation speeds.
Swivel joint technology
These swivel joints are compatible with cold water, hot water, steam, hydraulic oil, compressed air, various gases, cutting liquids, vacuum and many other fluids. They are resistant to temperatures up to 350°C, pressure up to 420 bar and rotation speeds up to 40,000 rpm. These rotating passages are available in versions compliant with DIN norms: DN 3 to DN 800.
The swivel joints are particularly suited to compensate for torsion movements between two components moving independently of one another.
They enable pivot and pendulum movements as well as full rotation at low speed.
Movement quality is ensured by the built-in ball bearing construction (one or two rows, depending on the overturning moment). Special seals and caps are used to protect the balls from outside pollution.
Ganymed swivel joints are equipped with a PTFE additive seal. The seal is pre-stressed by a built-in spring to enable operation at low pressure or vacuum conditions,
