Rotating rings

To complete its range of mechanical indexers using cams, MCPI has developed a range of digital control rings. They are designed to rotate assemblies for industrial applications, thanks to their supporting qualities and simple operation. These motorized rings are suitable for indexing requirements and continuous rotation requirements.

Technology

Versatility is what describes best this solution. MCPI orientation rings have a large diameter outer ring, which is driven by a gear with internal gap compensation, making them ideal for many industrial projects. They can be used with heavy loads for handling operations, as well as fulfill the precision requirements of assembly applications, or ensure continuous rotation during part processing.

Rotation may be realized either by a synchronous motor (positioning precision), or an asynchronous motor (robustness and simplicity of operation).
